ReconRobotics announces UGV innovation at NTOA conference

Edina, MN – ReconRobotics unveiled the Recon Scout CT, their latest micro-robot innovation at the 33rd Annual National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA) conference this week in Louisville, KY. Building upon their earlier innovations in micro-robots, the new capability delivered by the Recon Scout CT is its capacity to carry a specialized payload as well as performing audio and video reconnaissance.

“The Recon Scout CT is the result of taking input from tactical response units looking for enhanced capabilities in unknown situations,” reported Mack Traynor, CEO of ReconRobotics. “The CT allows them to not only monitor a situation but to also deliver a tactical payload that can mitigate a scenario where lives are on the line.”

According to Andrew Drenner, Chief Technology Officer at ReconRobotics, “as with all of our micro-robots, the CT has the capability to be thrown into unknown situations. What sets it apart is the addition of a Picatinny rail to allow for the rapid attachment, deployment and emplacement of sensors that can detect whether an area is unsafe for entry by specialized response personnel.”

ReconRobotics will be exhibiting and demonstrating the Recon Scout CT during the NTOA Tactical Operations Conference and Trade Show. The NTOA is the largest law enforcement special operations conference providing seminars, hands-on training, debriefs and events for tactical officers from around the country.
