The Recon Scout Operator Control Unit (OCU) is a rugged hand-held device used to control the movement of the Recon Scout and to receive live, high-quality video from the Recon Scout as it moves through an environment. The OCU is small and light weight, and can be operated with just one hand. Total set-up time takes less than 20 seconds: simply attached the two antennas and turn on the OCU. Movement of the Recon Scout is controlled by a simple thumb-operated joystick in the center of the OCU.
